Bezel is a Shopify app that turns your product photos into framed images for your Meta (Facebook and Instagram) catalog. This page explains what the app stores, why, and for how long.
What we collect
When you install the app, Shopify gives us access to the following about your store:
- Your store's domain and an access token that lets the app read your store's products on your behalf.
- Product and collection information: titles, photo links, prices, compare-at prices, stock levels, tags, variant IDs and SKUs, and which collections each product belongs to.
From you, inside the app, we also store:
- The frame designs you create, the rules that choose a frame for each product, and your feed settings.
- Which plan you are subscribed to. Payments are handled entirely by Shopify; we never see payment details.
- Background images you upload or link to. We keep our own re-encoded copy of each one.
We do not collect or store personal information about your customers or shoppers. The app has no access to orders or customer records.
How we use it
Only to provide the app: to keep a copy of your catalog, draw the framed images, and publish them in a product feed you can give to Meta Commerce Manager. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Your feed and framed images are served from links that contain a long random code. Anyone who has a link can open it, so treat it like a password and only paste it into your own Meta account.
Who else handles it
- Shopify, which provides the platform and the data the app reads.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the app's servers and stores its database and image files.
- Meta, only if you connect the feed: Meta downloads your feed and framed images from the links above.
We keep short-lived technical logs (for example a store's domain and the time of a request) to keep the service running and fix faults.
How long we keep it
- If you uninstall the app, your catalog copy, feed link and rendered images are deleted right away. Your frame designs are kept briefly so that reinstalling doesn't lose your work.
- Shopify then tells us to erase the rest 48 hours after uninstall; at that point everything we hold for your store, including designs and uploaded images and the stored access token, is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about your store, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, at any time by writing to sujata199.behera@gmail.com. Deleting the app has the effect described above. If you or your customers are covered by laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, we will respond to requests as those laws require. Shopify sends us the standard customer data request and erasure notices; since we hold no customer data, there is nothing to return or erase.
Changes and contact
